Advanced 12mm Planar Magnetic Drivers
Unlike conventional dynamic drivers, which use a centrally positioned voice coil, the NeoBuds Planar uses newly developed 12mm modular planar magnetic drivers.
Dual-layer magnet arrays apply force more evenly across the diaphragm, helping it move with greater accuracy and consistency. This design reduces distortion and delivers clearer vocals, more precise instrument separation and highly detailed sound reproduction.
Second-Generation EqualMass™ Technology
Edifier’s patented second-generation EqualMass™ wiring technology distributes weight and driving force evenly across the diaphragm.
Symmetrical supporting wires further improve stability and control, allowing the diaphragm to move more precisely. The result is enhanced resolution, improved accuracy and a more natural listening experience across a wide frequency range.
Micron-Scale Ultra-Thin Diaphragm
The planar magnetic drivers feature an ultra-thin diaphragm with a base thickness of only 2 micrometres and a total thickness below 10 micrometres.
Its lightweight construction reduces inertia, allowing the drivers to respond quickly to changes in the audio signal. This helps reproduce fine details, fast transients and subtle textures with impressive clarity.
